We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and the business information you share during the conversational flow. We also collect standard usage data through analytics (page views, session duration, feature usage) via PostHog.
Your business information is used solely to generate personalized entity and tax strategy recommendations. Your email address is used for account access, saving your progress, and — only with your explicit consent — sending tax law update notifications. We do not sell your information to third parties.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not store Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card details, or other sensitive financial identifiers. Conversation data is associated with your account for the purpose of saving and resuming your progress.
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: Anthropic (AI processing), Voyage AI (search functionality), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Stripe (future payment processing), and Resend (email delivery). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are used to understand how the platform is used and improve the experience. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
